We made our initial enquiry to the Worcestershire Fostering Team and had a reply from their Recruitment BSO about two drop in events in Droitwich and Worcester.

Our first thoughts of fostering were about five years previously and for a couple of years we had discussed fostering with one another and were curious to find out more…

Sometimes families are unable to provide the level of care and support a child needs and it may be unsafe for the child to continue to live at home.

When this is the case, professionals will make the decision for the child to become ‘Looked After’ by the local authority – you may know this as ‘taken into care’.

The children are coached by a fully qualified experienced disability’s instructor at £ per session.
